Freedom Feeder Trailer-Mini Net/ 2 Flake Slow Feed Hay Net

This net is designed for the trailer, or for daily use with miniature horses, goats, sheep, or calves for slow feeding meals.  It has 1” mesh openings, measures 2.6’x2' and holds up to 13 pounds of forage hay.  It is top loading made with drawstring cord. Comes with a large carabineer for hanging.

The goal of Freedom Feeder is for every horse to have a high fiber, low calorie forage available 24/7. Using Freedom Feeder is a way to “free” us from meal routines and help our horses live a happier, healthier, and more natural life, think of them as “Pasture In A Net”. Freedom Feeders may help alleviate many meal time anxieties such as weaving or pacing, reduces the likelihood of colic.

FF-TM1 (1″ net) - 1″ Mesh openings: For INSULIN RESISTANT OR SMALLER grazing animals. We recommend that you start transition with 1.5″ mesh then slow them down further using 1″ mesh only if necessary.

FF-TM1.5 (1.5″ net) - 1.5″ Mesh openings: OPTIMAL opening to mimic grazing and slow consumption

FF-TM2 (2″ Net) - 2″ Mesh Openings: For Aggressive eaters and larger horses. May require going down to a smaller mesh size once horse is transitioned.
